Definition (meaning)
a kind of predicate (the ​part of a ​sentence that ​contains the ​verb and gives ​information about the ​subject) which is used in Korean military.

In military, every saying is supposed to be very strict and not soft. As adding this idiom after verb, sentence gets more strict. For instance, 밥먹자(normal expression : babmuckja: means ‘Let’s eat something’), 밥먹지 말입니다.(military expression : babmuckji maleemnida)

This word is used when a low ranked soldier says to a high ranked soldier with polite respect.
This word is used in 태양의 후예(korean TV series).
Many Korean grammar teachers say this usage is not fit for grammar rule.
