Pronunciation :
inseong
Definition (meaning) :
morality
Originally, this word means ‘personality’ but it is usually used to evaluate someone’s degree of morality.
Koreans tend to obsess with morality too much. It looks like OMD — Obsessive Moral Disorder. They think that we all have to do ethically. They set ideal goal which can established by only Jesus or Buddha up, but it’s impossible for normal people to reach. Many celebrities became scapegoats by this moral terrorism. They were criticized because of very trivial fault such like not-polite saying, divorce, revealing outfits, smoking on the non-smoking room.
Film and music must have ‘moral content’ which good people win and bad people die, otherwise, many Koreans will hate that.e.g. κ·Έ κ°μλ μΈμ±μ΄ κΈλ¬λ¨Ήμ΄μ μ«μ΄.
